Your data
Is my data sent over the internet?
No. It stays on your firm's PC, encrypted. Our server handles your account and your licences.
And when the internet is down?
yuba works normally for up to 30 days without a connection. After that it turns read-only until it next connects.
What happens if I stop?
Nothing is deleted. You can read, print and export all your data.
Is my data backed up?
Yes, every day, on the firm's PC: seven daily, four weekly and twelve monthly backups are kept. A restore starts from a verified backup.
What about law 18-07?
Your clients' files stay on your firm's PC; our server keeps only your account and your licences. A copy of the key is left with us only if you ask. The steps the law requires remain your firm's.
Fees and the barème
Is the ONCA/CNCC barème built in?
Yes, with its date. Every quote shows the barème minimum next to the agreed fee.
Can I agree a fee below the barème?
Yes. yuba does not block it: the gap is flagged on the quote and recorded in the journal.
Can I use my own scale?
Yes. The partner or an administrator writes it, with its date; quotes are priced with it and the barème minimum stays on screen beside them.
Invoices and payments
Are the invoices compliant?
They carry both parties' legal mentions, TVA, the total in words and a gapless number for each fiscal year. An issued invoice cannot be changed; it is corrected by a credit note (facture d'avoir).
Can the numbering have gaps?
No. The number is given at issue, after the previous one, in the fiscal year's series. A draft has no number.
Does yuba issue invoices on its own?
No. It drafts each period's invoice on the engagement letter's schedule; someone at the firm checks it and issues it.
Is stamp duty calculated?
Yes, on every cash payment, from the dated rates built into yuba.
Does it send reminders by email or SMS?
No. Reminder letters are ready to print or to save.
Deadlines
When does CNAS turn monthly?
At ten employees or more, a client's CNAS and CACOBATPH turn monthly by themselves; at nine or fewer, they are quarterly.
Where do the due dates come from?
From a dated calendar built into yuba. The finance law can change them: check them every year.
The firm and the team
Do I have to change my accounting software?
No. yuba runs the firm; your accounting software keeps the entries.
Does it do my clients' payroll?
No. yuba bills your payroll fee by the client's headcount; the payslips stay in your payroll software.
Can several people work in it?
Yes. Several PCs work over the firm's network, on an encrypted connection. Each person has a role in each module and sees only the client files assigned to them.
Which computers does it run on?
The PC that holds your firm's data: Windows. Your other PCs: Windows or Mac, connected to it over the firm's network.
Which languages is the app in?
French and Arabic, right to left in Arabic; the app is not in English. Invoices print in French.
Demo, pricing and payment
Do I have to enter all my clients again?
Yes, there is no import yet. During the demo, we help you enter your first client files.
How does the demo work?
We call you, then install yuba on the firm's PC with you. For 14 days you work on your real client files. On day 14 you choose your modules; if not, your data stays readable and exportable.
How much does yuba cost?
One price per module, per user, per year. Prices are given on request, during the call.
How do I pay for the subscription?
By virement, CCP, cheque or cash.
